Federal Discrimination Suits Fall 7.3% The 22,400 federal suits filed last year are a 7.3% drop from the 1997 level. This decline comes despite a rise in cases pursued by the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and in overall filings. There is no clear reason for this drop.
